Jw I know you like Carthage you should look at Punic coins...You have a wide variety of types to choose from. Provided you like horse and palm trees.

Well, this coin and one other I purchased from this seller arrived in the mail yesterday. I could not be more pleased. The coin is better in hand than even in the images which show a nice coin. It is a spectacular coin in hand. And it is a large coin as well. The coin is 10.3g, 27mm. The seller is now in my favorites list. Both of the coins are very nice. I will post the other coin in a separate thread. This has got to be one of the best detailed coins I have in my collection!!

Nice when they look better in hand, I've been looking, not finding good looking coins like this for under $100 price tag...

This one was well under $50. Even under $40. Well, ok. With shipping it cost me $35. And like I said, it may be one of the best detailed coins in my collection. Certainly not the rarest or most expensive. But extremely pleasing to the ole eyeball.
