I've always been interested in Medieval coins. This one is interesting considering the history of Bohemond III:

Quote:
Bohemond III of Antioch (1144â€"1201), also known as the Stammerer or the Stutterer, was Prince of Antioch from 1163 to his death. He was a son of Constance of Antioch by her first husband Raymond of Poitiers. His name is sometimes spelled Bohemund.

=> congrats on the 3k-post, Jango!!

=> that's a very cool coin

I have only bought one medieval coin (NOTE => my thread ended-up being punted to the World Coin Category) ... I too think that they are very cool, but I kinda steered myself back into the Greek and Roman coin-worlds (that is a big enough target-zone as it is!!)

Great example, and a hard-to-come-by coin as well!

Sorry, I can't help you. I just wanted to say I like the coin. Almost felt like getting one myself. Perhaps I will in the future.
