I like cheap and I like this coin!

The coin impressive in hand. Its worn but struck in high relief on a huge flan. I once thought I wouldnt own one of these but now I do. I am really tickled pink. Its one of those coins that rarely shows its face in "affordable." The coin itself has seen better days but the condition in hand was more then satisfactory. The obverse has that porosity creaping towards the face slightly diminishing the nose, but I can live with it. It is truley wonderful to hold. It has one of the largest flans in mu collection of ancient Greek silver.

I'm fascinated by ancient coins and have yet to make the plunge. You've given me the impetus to go see what I can find. Please don't tell my dear wife my addiction's taken another fork in the road.

@ Coin addict- You secret is safe with me....I must warn you this is a dangerous road you travel, you cant have them all and you cant complete any sets really but they are out there and if you look you can find deals, but they are growing few and far between, the great challenge is timing your shipment so you can intercept the mail before the little lady gets to the mail box.
