Another from Cointalk hey? (I'm Sylvester over there in case your wondering).

Errors hey?

Hmm one tip never get me started on error's because I get into terminology arguments. Much like National Dealer's examples, as you will soon realise 'flaw' is my favourite word.

But I'm harmless enough, we cater for all tastes here, even *gulp* hammered coins...

Well, being that I am a CoinWorld Ex-Forum-banned type member, I for one welcome you from the HH of CT--Unfortunately for them, apparently we here at this forum are starting to ahhh--steal, borrow, takeaway those over there with any intelligence at all for our hobby, those with salt and a tongue, instead of ahh, letting the post counters continue to abuse prives--I for 1 got tired of letting the young pups take over a site with 1 liners with absolutely no intelligence factors and they don't read or research sheet--So I for one welcome you here, and don't blame you for being here, show me sum bison errors bro and we rap bout it
BTW I am known over thar as ciscokid over thar--

Please let's all remember that we have many shared members with other forums and all have a place in the numismatic community.

I did not discover this, but I am pulling them out of rolls as we speak.

Very, very, nice variety!

Hi Errorcoins! You didn't used to be on the old CoinWorld forum did you? I seem to remember someone by that name there. Please keep sharing your photos- I haven't found anything worth bragging about lately so I need to live vicariously (spelled that right?) through someone else's finds!

Welcome to the forum Chris. I think most of us like seeing high quality photos of anything coin related. I don't collect error coins but have learned a lot about them from the discussion of the other members. Please feel free to join in.

I must admit this is also the reason why I left another forum, too many people posting nothing but rows of smilies in a post war to see who can have the bigger post count. I find it detrimental to the whole purpose of a coin collecting site, so I quit complaining about it and upsticks and left. So here I am!

I certainly resent some of the remarks I am reading. Before people attack other collectors you should single out the ones you have issues with and not call all other forum users/collectors such terrible names. Even though this is my 1st post here, I have been a member of many forums and an avid collector for over 20 years and I consider myself very "professional" when it concerns coins. I do not post evry time I log-on because I am more of a reader then a poster especially when it concerns slamming other collectors who have done nothing to you for no reason only because they belong to another forum. If the topic is coin related, then lets talk. I feel really bad now because my first choice of a thread had to be this one and all I read is attacks on fellow collectors. I read where you don't like "post-counters" well let me assure you, as you will find out, you just acquired 2 from another forum.

At the risk of offending anyone, I am choosing to close this thread. I firmly believe that ALL forums have a place in numismatics and that ALL members have the right to speak their minds. However, I see that this thread has taken a turn that could be interpreted as attacking other collectors and I do not wish to see that on our forum. We are Coin Community with a strong emphasis on "community". All are welcome here.
