Neat coins! I have been looking at some Ottoman coins of the same period!
The Pilate is cool and these coins generally carry a premium in any condition, kudos to you. Now on to the issue of classification. I personally would consider it a Roman Provincial coin minted in Judea in the name of Tiberius. The legend is in Latin and names the Emperor. Good Xmas scores!

I picked up a silver akce for $5 a couple of years ago but I still need to fully attribute it.
Bronze prutahs are a bit harder to come by, but they can be found.
I have an example of a prutah of Valerius Gratus (AD 15-26), which would have circulated while Jesus was on Earth. Perhaps He would have been familiar with the coins of Valerius Gratus. Perhaps one of these could have been the Widow's Mite.

This would have been just before the time that Pontius Pilot flew aeroplanes!

You mean the legend is in Greek But yeah I don't see any reason not to put it as a Roman provincial.

Jango => nice gifts to yourself (it is the only real way to ensure that you're gonna get the gift that you want, eh?)

Hey, Merry Christmas Jango!! (you were one of the first dudes that I met, through the infamous "Never-Ending Story" thread) ... may it RIP

=> well, I'm very glad to hear that you got the gift that you were asking for (or buying for yourself)

Not bad. I don't have a Pontius Pilate coin yet, but maybe in the future. I also don't have a Ottoman Empire coin either.
