This one is Japanese, 5 yen.
It is dated Showa (the era of emperor Hirohito) year 49, which equals AD 1974.

As soon as I scanned it I saw the face and decided it wasn't a coin,but anything is possible.
By the way I used to live across the river from the old shipyard.

Thailand 1 baht dated BE 2505, which is AD 1962 (although they were minted 1962 - 82 with the frozen date).
