American Small Dollar Flips fit Canadian Large Cents perfectly.

Here's an example.

Thanks joboman and Canadian-Banknotes!

Looks like they may just fit then although it will be a close one! According to wikipedia a quarter is just under 24mm so I guess that puts the large cent around 25-26mm. With the pockets being apparently 27mm I might be okay with what I have.

I guess I'll just have to collect one and see :)

B&W Coins in Brampton has the American Dollar size 2x2 flips, much cheaper than that ebay link...

Yeah, I wouldn't buy the ones I linked. I was just showing what the American "Small Dollars" looked like.

I use these flips, and the Canadian Large Cents fit perfectly.

Anyone know where I can buy cheap self adhesive flips for all sizes of common Canadian change? I'm tired of stapling and having to fold down the staples lol. Not to mention I buy 20 2x2s for 3.99...so expensive

Who charges you that much for 20 2x2s? That is absolutely brutal. I pay $0.05 per 2x2 for the staple type.

I agree, and you have more real estate to write down notes on the flip margins. This flip also works perfectly for Canadian Loon dollars.

sorry my mistake, I pay 1.95+tax for 20 2x2s and 4.95 for the self adhesive. This is at canadiancoinandcurrency...however I jut saw they sell 100 2x2s for $4.50 so I will definitely be buying those.

anyways, thanks guys

Make sure you check the shipping price. Sometimes it is well over the cost of the 2x2's.

Everything smaller than a Thaler/American Silver Eagle fits in the sheets I buy..and I pay .10 each I believe for sticky flips, which I prefer for silver coins.

You should get one of the staplers that flatten the staples automatically.
I got mine at staples. So glad I did.

I just wanted to make an update in case anyone else was wondering about the large cent fitting into SafetyGard SGP1 60 holder sheets... I picked up my first large cent and while it does technically fit in to the sheets, it is a VERY tight fit.

I think I will use the 24 holder sheets instead even though they are quite a bit bigger than necessary, since I'd rather have too much space than risk damaging a coin putting it in (or taking it out)

Cheers!

Large cents are 25.4 mm (12 of them touching in a line is a foot) so they will fit easily into your 27 mm item.
