Nope not too bad at all...... Fairly low serial to boot, which, to me, is always a nice little addition. Do you happen to know the meaning behind A, B, C, D at the begining of each serial?

I was wondering if they started the bars with A and maxed out the serial numbers and then jumped to B and so on and so forth. I've only ever seen A,B,C,D so far. Seen anything higher?

Ya I managed to get one about 4 days ago. Not as good of a price as you but still a fair price. Have no regrets. Have it in hand too, came in the mail today. Managed to sell some other silver, aside from my 20 maples that I was selling to compensate for lost work, to free some funds to get one. Wanted one for so long and like we were saying before.. You get them cheapest when supply is high. I would like one more but have to sell other stuff first. In essence...doing a bit of reshaping of the stack since I cant afford to only add you know.

No sir.. Its all good.. I am missing 22-27 and 30 and 31.. I will be watching the bay for those.. we have slowly been adding to it...magnetics and non and so on. it is very fun with my girls..and we have been finding all kinds of pennies through out the house...
Today we found a jar up in the cupboard with misc American and some Canadian coins in it and we found 1 1964 silver US Quarter..Nice find.. I had put them up there when we bought our house in 2000..
sorry for the long read..

Oh thats too bad...I had shipped out 5 that night and I randomly stuck the extra 2 into one album for someone. Dont know where it ended up, but thought it would be nice to add a little extra as a surprise.
Those other dates are are really hard to find roll searching and the 20's that arent there are on the expensive side. I dont have them all for my album yet either. I figured while I'm doing all this roll searching by hand, that I would pull the best I can find for each year and put albums together and preserve a little bit of Canadian history while I had a chance. Also, be nice that once I sell them all I can put together the set from 1858 to 1920 large cent. Not sure if its cheaper to just buy the set or go after them myself. Maybe someone else might know the answer to that question.
I really appreciated your feedback by the way. It made me feel good knowing someone started their collecting hobby with one of my sets. It is too bad that you never mentioned CCF when you purchased, because although each year in each album that I sell, the grades are about the same....I have found th odd penny for some years that stand out above the rest. I totally whould have taken those out of my personal stash and added them into yours. Have you thought of grabbing a dfew boxes of pennies from the bank before the stop handing them out on friday to look through with the kids?

My wife went the other day just before work for some 2012 pennies, but they didn't have any.. so I wthink I may just go and buy 1 or 2 boxes for something to do with the girls..
