Well I flew through my two boxes and wish I had more now. My first box was amazing and my second not so much. I will post pics on the cent hunting thread this evening.
Also clad my gf sounds the same as your wife. Happy I have a hobby as long as I don't spend too much. I budget at most 100 dollars a month which I feel is a decent amount.
Do not know what I am switching to next probably nickels have to figure out what to look in those though.

Give me two weeks and I could probably tear through all of those boxes. There is no way I could ever have the much at once without looking through them.

That is a crapload of cents. Do you plan on searching them or just holding them to see what happens to the collector value of the Canadian cent. You never know. You may be able to make a killing on unsearched boxes of Canadian cents.
Wow...16 boxes of 2012's. Very nice pick-up indeed.

About 90% are machine wrapped,boxes sealed by Churchill and are usually 50% copper. Some quick stats from the last 10 boxes searched: - 200ish 20's 30's 40's combined - 150ish 50's;keepers - 600ish 60's;keepers - an astonishing 150ish Wheaties(1910 being the oldest) - 100's of world cents(1920 being the oldest; a farthing in a customer roll in MS GRADE!!) - ETC,ETC,ETC oh,and was able to purchase 4 boxes on Mon.(the 5)

Purchased 4 boxes on the 5th. That's cheating. LOL! You must be in good with the bank. I need to take a few days break away from searching the cent boxes. reason discussed in Canadian Coin, Bank note forum. Keep us updated on any interesting finds. I see a seller on the bay is selling boxes of Canadian cents. Apparently all the boxes are from a distribution center (like Brinks in the US) and still sealed. He is selling them for $49.98 I believe + shipping. Last time I looked this morning he had sold 19 so far. Apparently the seller has pallets full of boxes that he ordered and had delivered. I wonder what a box will sell for 6 months from now.

I figured that some banks would still sell them to customers considering they have to pay to ship them to the fed. A penny saved is a penny saved. :)
I hope you find a few good ones in them. I'm sitting here waiting to tear in to mine tomorrow if I can. I hope...I hope...I hope.
Will you be going to the Flea market / craft show this Sunday at the Ruiniti Hall. I seen it posted on Soo today. Starts at 10 AM. The gentleman I told you about will be there. I want to check it out as I have not been able to attend any yet as my Sundays are usually booked. Apparently the hall has a Sunday breakfast Buffet. Maybe the wife will want to go and I can stay for the market for a bit.
