I turned in the silver and gold for $220.00 These woods are really trashy being on the edge of town. this was my second time detecting here. As for the weather, I'm in Indiana. Coat and hat one day, shorts and T-shirt the next. Lol I've found quite a few unusual things the two times searching, including a purple/pearl ceramic handgun. Bidding on a Whites Pin-pointer now.

Jaymon you don't want the White's Bullseye pinpointer unless you plan on buying a new one every six months. Based on experience...

The Garrett Pro-pointer seems to be real popular right now, my detecting buddies all use one (I use a Sunray inline probe)..they aren't cheap at around $125, but they are quality. The new Minelab pinpointer runs about $150+. Just keep in mind ya get what ya pay for.

I checked out a reviews page for detectors and pin-pointers. Glad I didn't get the Whites. Didn't see a review for the Fisher's though. I'm starting to lean towards the Garrett, really good reviews for that one and can't beat the price.

I have a Garrett pro-pointer and yes its good I like the fact it will lead you to your target if you get within an inch or two but I have to say I loved my tinytec as well and it was a lot cheaper.
I find pin-pointers most useful in low light conditions or mulch. Generally the pinpoint function on my detectors gets me straight to the target.
