I always get shipping confirmation just never a tracking number so I still don't know which day it is going to show up exactly and I hate to have it left in mailbox.

I went online today and saw 2 subsections until my original order that both my subscriptions for the O Canada are shipped. Both the 1/10oz gold and 1oz.
I can't wait to see it. Still waiting on 5 other coins.

The date of shipment will be determined by the volume of orders received, product availability and other factors.
hope this clears up the mystery, we just have to figure out the other factors?

I received my coin on a Thursday. I got the email notification on the following Monday, and the website showed item shipped on the following Wednesday.

yes, the mint have more information, like tracking number of shipped coins.

I meant would the mint have a better idea of the status of the parcel. For example, if the order says "processing", would the mint know the status has changed to "shipped"?

it would be nice for the mint to do what Perth Mint does, include tracking number when ship out the item. |

I got shipping confirmation from the Mint on the in-stock items, but had to call for tracking number.
What's the deal with Gatewest? They charged my card right away, but no indication anything shipped and no reply to email?

When did you order? They are usually quite good with email.

 sodude Gatewest always charges the credit card immediately. Don't worry they will send you an email with tracking as soon as the items ship. If some items are on backorder it will delay the whole order. They're a very reliable company. |

That was quick, Gatewest just notified me my order was shipping.
And the Mint sent confirmation email on an order that was already delivered.

Sounds like Dino #1 J&M is the one coin store that only charges the credit card when it ships.
