SkyShark124- ya I figured that was dust on yours and the other as well, same with mine, it shows up like a neon sign on these! yours looks great too (also the top set!) I love the black on white look, it doesn't show this contrasted on other coins, for some reason on this one it really sticks out! I really like the UNC version too, the colors great, it just looks unbelievably nice! I may have to get one of those now too. I was born in 1982, so that was another reason I wanted this one so bad, and was happy to find it in that promo for $9.95 shipped, especially in this condition!

Come on everyone else, lets see um!

I need to take some better photos, someday.

But for now, you can catch a glimpse of them in my 7070.

I picked up one of ebay mislisted, in F-VF, pocketpiece. It was one of the few memoir items, I saved when I had to sell off all my coins due to an injury in 2008.

I'll try and post it here sometime to balance out all these beautiful UNC and Proofs

{EDIT: I started a new topic on the arrival of my '82 Washington so as to not hijack this thread's conversation}

Well, this kinda turned into a "show me your '82 Wash" topic and I didn't want to ruin that fun.

No problem. After reading your other post, I understand your reasons and think you made the right call.

I would say no.

Just reading that made me laugh thinking of someone sitting on a runway in a plane giving out a list of demands to let themselves go

I went to my LCS the other week to get one of these for my 7070. They stated they had over 4,000 of them in the back in proof condition alone. No kidding, they showed me the boxes. For some reason that just turned me off to these coins.

There are 2,210,458 Washington Commemorative Half dollars in uncirculated and 4,894,044 in proof.

I would think that seeing 4,000 of them at one time would be rather interesting.

No kidding! Love the coin or not, that's over $40K of melt value.

Coins Kelly I just purchased a 1948 NGC set of PDS MS65,65,66. Paid $410 and thought that was a good price. Coins all look MS66 really thinking about sending em back to NGC for recertification.

Why, I ought to stomp your little...just kidding. I'll be nice. You can go to a forum that's most similar to the coin or currency you want to ask about, then click "New Topic" to post about it. Should be able to get plenty of help that way.
