Hmmm...interesting
Now I am curious: it the same series (same style), but issued as shared for Gabon and Congo.
And the Mint not mentioned on the COA. I do not believe that it produced by local mint.
Btw - there is a 3Oz Rhino issued in the 2013 with mintage=500.
Could those coins be counted as "Numismatic"? And the Mongolian series?

Hi,
Silveroid, have you been able to find capsules for your silver bullion coins ? I'm starting a 2014 collection and am wondering whether I should use the Lighthouse Volterra Piano case (quadrum, which is adjustable to each coin specific diameter but would mean removing the proofs from their original round capsule) or a case with round holes (like the Volterra uno with 41mm holes, which would mean the smaller coins (Austria etc) would wobble around.

Very nice set of coins there Falcon, I enjoy collection F12/15's from other mints as well. Sometimes the quality of the other mints are questionable but most of the time I'm pleased with my purchase.

Since I've replaced almost all the coins and to have "Proof" versions (that my way to understand the Fabolous coins), I decided to keep original round capsules and let them be free in the rectangular slot. I found, that for my visibility - the coin looks much better in the round capsule, and prefer to keep coin in safe in its own capsule, rather to move it to non-hermetic capsule with the foam. |

Here my latest acquisition, by which I finally "closed" my own 2012 (well there are some exceptions) 15 coin set of "World Famous / Fabulous Silver cons" . Greenland: 2012 Polar Bear and Allegorical Female Figure of Greenland - 1 Piaster - Pure Silver Proof Well, the coin is not legal tender and might be concidered as "fantasy coin", but: as far as I know, some decades ago, the Dutch Royal Mint did issue coins for Greenland - "Piasters", same as this coin. So this fact, and this is really "Fabulous" coin, driven me to choose it.   The coin originally was "carded" (blister), but I decided to keep the coins in round capsules (or their own, or air-tite). some Specifications: Country..........Greenland Year of Issue....2012 Face Value.......1 Piaster Weight...........31.135 g Diameter.........38.00 mm (in some places appears as 40, but it fits 38mm Direct Fit Air-tite) Mintage Limit.....950 (I like this) Finish Proof Composition...... .999 Fine (Pure) Silver Packaging..........Blister Pack Edited by Silveroid

Since it was kind of "single" issue, I just think, that people un-aware of it, or do not care. I've seen GovMint distributed them, and fast sold out. But they still available (i think) on the Talisman's website....same price of $95. Bit expensive for the "bullion", but it has nice finish, by it's theme close to the RCM 2013 Allegory coin / Switzerland Shooting Thaller series, so it was suitable to me, and fit well my set. |

@ Falcon / Silveroid great coins and photos, I'm drooling over them!! More coins to add to my wish list. It will be a longtime before I can afford them. My wish list is getting very long!!

Just prepared some duplicated (BU coins, that I replaced by Proofs) for sale, and noticed interesting print Error (lazy copy/paste + lazy QA) in the RCM COATake a look at RCM Certificate: The rendered Libertad coin shown of the year 2011, while below specifications (as the coin itself) mentioned 2012 as Year of issue. I do believe, that the rendering mistake on the COA appears on all the Certificates of this year (2012) and might be 2013-2014, but it still nice to have an official RCM Certificate with misprint. Anyway, listing it together with BU coin.  |

Silveroid... I am glad that the TIKI found a great forever home. I am confident that the TIKI will have a safe home for a long time. It saddens me sometimes to buy a coin that has been obviously handled (capsule opened) by multiple buyers as it get's flipped around ebay and such. Your TIKI is safe from mishandling. Now I just have to find a home for the F15 Rhino. Again Enjoy Liverpool |
