This is the first flowing hair Hobo half that I've ever seen! Somebody call out the firing squad!

So sad to see that. I sure hope it was done many many many many years ago.

Maybe some hobo did it during the deprssion so now it is more valuable since it is a Hobo Dollar.

The cases are real. The litigants are real. Today in Judge Judy's court:

JJ - I read your complaint Miss Liberty. You accuse Mr. Stew Pidman of ruining your hair.
Will you please explain what happened?

ML - (Ripping off an ill-fitting wig) Just look at it your Honor!

JJ - Oh, yes. As a woman I feel your pain, Miss Liberty. And what is your defense, Mr. Pidman?

SP - I was just strengthening a few of her highlights.

JJ - I've seen and heard enough. Judgement for the plaintive in the amount of $5000.

(Not that humor helps much in this case.)

This coin sold last month in the Goldberg Pre-Long Beach Sale Lot 1371 for $1,553. Not a bad profit for one month.

Change "retooled" to "strengthened," and delete "cleaned," and you net $400. Good job.

Just think that coin was around when Napoleon met Joséphine de Beauharnais in France although an American coin.

The "strengthening" and cleaning makes the coin look like a fake, at least that was my first impression looking at it.

REALLY?

That aside, that does indeed suck. That would have been a nice example.

Just to clarify, that's a Spanish fresco "made better" by a Spanish woman. So apparently, all races and nationalities, not just Americans, can be idiots.

I'm familiar with the fresco; I stand corrected.
