Thanks for sharing the pictures. I was wondering if the mint would make a mistake and place some dimes in by accident.

Thanks, guys, appreciate the attention.
Was tired and "slow"...but finally posted it.
Carefully checked all the coins - all are similar and nothing unusual.
Do not know the process, but surely some dime from the worker's pocket (if workers there allowed to wear something with the pockets) theoretically may escape to the rolls packing machine.

That's pretty cool, but no 2013 penny, that's to bad. If you sell the pennies for 75 cents a piece you will make $37.50. People won't pay much more than that. This poor guy cracked a roll a couple weeks ago and has gone from $3 a penny to the current price. He still has not sold any. http://www.ebay.com/itm/32107745085....m1438.l2649Thanks for doing that man. Good to see only 2012 pennies. I'm still looking for that 2013 penny.

the winnipeg mint strikes coins at high speeds into bulk bins, then goes to a laser optic scanner to cull out errors, then to the rolling stage. Thus the clever marketing label of last million distributed, even with roll #20000 it is just a roll of random pennies from the last million or so. There is a small chance a dime might be stuck in the bulk bin from previous production but in the last 3 years or so the new laser has eliminated most errors.

Thank you guys, for the replies....
Yeah, I didn't search for something special, but still was in hope for something, that not visible from outside.
Although these not pictures of BoC hoard gold coins, still the view of 50 new shiny rounds, with the smallest denomination, made me smile for a moment.
Too bad we will not see them in circulation, but for sure will keep them (and the rolls of them) in our collections.
