I had the same issue too. It only seemed to work when I selected one as the quantity, think it's time for the Mint to take a look at how their site runs.

@Northerncoins, I had the same problem earlier. Not to worry, it's just lots of traffic.

I kept on trying with 2. I wonder if the order would go through with 1 and you just place the order twice.

Ordered mine via the 1-800 number. Wait-time was about 2 minutes after I had tried several times to order online. Was told 'server overload' was the problem.

I just received my packs of de Salaberry today (Uncle living in Ottawa sends them for me). What a pleasant surprise it was to find that a majority of them are gems:) Very little bagmarking on most of them. Great lustre. Just plain nice-looking set of coins. This stands in stark contrast to the HMS Shannon $2 coins, the Isaac Brock, and Tecumseh sets that I received: almost all are very, very baggy (literally look like 'every coin in the mint [transport] bag must have struck them' as the saying goes). No gems needless to say. I wonder why the RCM apparently gave much more care to minting and transporting the de Salaberry issue? Anyone else experience the same with the coins they received?

Neg feedback from the other coins maybe? I never really looked at the Salaberrys that I received (just assumed they were the in the same condition as the Tecumseh) but I did scope some of the Tecumseh and along with the many bag marks the painted ones had white paint spattered all over the coins , cant really see it with the naked eye but what a mess under the scope. I did leave neg feed back about both the poor shipping and the white paint spatters. And ya the shipping was free but whats the use of receiving coins that are damaged through shipping in a plain white envelope , I think what made matters worst was that the 2 packs of coins were shipped side by side unprotected and they rubbed together causing most of the bag marks I presume.

I noticed that as well. Too many people complaining about the quality, or it took them this long to actually get into the series.

Too bad it took them till the second last coin!

I just cherry-picked the best minted coins and spent the rest! It's a win-win situation with these circulated coins. Hope the Mint keeps them coming, especially if the quality is better now!

Good idea , I just thought they would be better in the packaging that they come in . Is there some cheap container to store them in like an airtight but I don't want to spend one dollar to store a 25 cent coin lol. Was thinking of a coin tube that they would fit into and then save the best , spend the rest.

Great policy for circulated coins! Wish this were true for the $204$20 and $100 bison coins!

You could always store the quarters in mylars. Or if you know of someone who uses/needs meds, ask them to save the small bottles for you. Quarters fit nicely into those (might need a bit of paper wrapping to line the bottle for a tight fit)..... the medium-sized bottles hold silver half dollars perfectly.
