When I first got it, I tried to convince my young son that it was made of pure platypus. He wasn't having any of it, though...

Lol, for the price of platinum you think they could have at least had the box covered in platypus skin

Very Very nice collection , I also only collect U.S. coins but when it comes to bullion I love a lot of the designs from other countries as well.

I like the kilo dragon Barry. It's crazy to think that your 50 peso piece is more than twice as valuable as that thing.

Yeah, I'm not really into "animals of the Chinese zodiac" in general, but I've always felt that the dragon was pretty special.

Who wants a coin with a rat (or pig or chicken or snake or horse, etc.) on it? But a dragon? Now, that's just cool!

Whatever works for you. For me, I've figured out that if I keep waiting for silver prices to fall I'll never actually buy anything.

Horses are good, the Kentucky State Quarter is one of my favorite. Pig not so much, but I think my cat would like one with a rat on it

Barry, you'll be surprised by number of people who like horses on the coins ...
I'd say 1 - dragon; 2 - tiger; 3- horse; 4-ox; 5 - the rest

added recently lunar 2 rabbit and tiger ; and lunar 1 goat for 43/coin ... don't care where the price of silver is heading but I have to complete my series))
