Sellers can end or cancel listings anytime they want just have to say item no longer available they may have to pay a small fee though

I know this wasn't the case here, but I don't think a seller can get away with no shipping an item that is bought and paid for. As ebay states, a bid is a contract. If a seller failed to deliver the item, the buyer has grounds to sue to damages, and they would win, no matter what the sellers excuse. |

This happens on accident all the time. They put BIN instead of starting bid. ebay doesn't dock you for it, and buyers can't leave negative feedback. Just a miss-click. No big deal. If you list a lot of auctions on ebay, it will probably happen to you one day. People who attempt to leave negative feedback for not getting an $800 coin for .99 cents have no spine. Anjohl - Doesn't work like that. Read ebay policies and good luck finding an attorney who gives a crappola. Edited by Drsandman2

I disagree. If someone were to have bought it, it would be driving away a couple of potential customers. Whether they would be actual returning customers in the long run, who knows, but I know I wouldn't risk negatives just to get some views. Those are the only 2 he has done like that as far as I can see, so it must have been a mistake.
Plus the fact that he MUST have realized it and went to close the a couple minutes after listing them.

Yep, it was bought, not closed. Anyways, I guess he resolved the issue with the buyer as he still didn't get any negative or neutral.

Yes, I think someone bought it. The seller must have made a listing error and did not realize it until someone bought it. If he immediately knew he made a mistake, he could have ended the auction and still get a free re-list.

So if you guys were quick and bought those coins for 99c you would leave negative feedback even though you know it was just a mistake?
