Between the two I think the 8 for 200 with PCGS is the best deal if you have old coins that you would use the 32 dollar tier for.
But yes the free accounts they both have doesn't come with submission privileges. You have to have one of the paid accounts and then will have to pay for the order as well. The paid accounts are a yearly charge so you wouldnt have to do that every submission.
As far as submitting though you can only put coins in the same order that are the same tier. With your examples the ike and quarter could be one order but the gold would have to be its own order.

@basebal, wow, thanks very much man! I'm going with ANACS, they seem so much easier and nicer. I might add more coins but right now I am very tried and can't even type that good. I will throw in the 1993 quarter IF I don't see any marks or scratches that would ruin the grade.

Straight from the ANACS website; How should I package my coins when sending them to ANACS?
We always suggest that you place each coin in its own Mylar flip. (You can purchase Mylar flips from your local coin shop or on the Internet.) We suggest 2 ½ X 2 ½ crown size Mylar flips. Always remove the coins from any cardboard flips they might be in and always be careful when removing any staples. Write the line number from the submission form on the flip with a felt marker. This will help expedite your order. Wrap the coins so they will not slide out of the flip. Do not use staples or paper clips. Pad the coins/flips with tissue or styrofoam and place them in an appropriate size box. We recommend that you follow the "Rule Of Two," by packaging your coins in two containers, such as a padded envelope inside of a box.http://www.anacs.com/contentPages/F...kieSupport=1Is there a coin show in your area anytime soon? @oih82w8, Huh when I googled I couldn't find it, Thanks very much. I used my psp to type that, I was unable to use my pc at that time. I will wrap it with paper then place inside a small box or something. After that I will package it with the paper. Perhaps, closes coin show is 200 miles away... *Added* Coin is going to be sent out tomorrow morning. I wrapped the coin in a hard paper and then placed the forum paper over it. Once again, thanks everyone who helped. This forum can be closed I guess. I will make a new thread about the grade it comes back, hopefully AU something, or some kind of MS grade. when I first commented on this thread I thought it said "How to submit to NGC" not any " TPG" and that is why I only gave the ways to submit to NGC in my reply |

I changed the topic, I did that because I changed my mind about who I sending to. Perhaps my dang Dad lied about taking me in the morning... will NOW have to send it tomorrow.

I was wondering about getting items graded at coin shows. Say I want PCGS to grade my coin. If I find a booth at a coin show, do I still have to wait multiple weeks to get the coin back, or do they grade the coin on the spot?

@ Tetromibi: You still have to wait, but you can safe money on the cost of shipping and sometimes get a coinshow deal. For PCGS, I dont believe there is any way to get around paying for a 1 year membership, unless you submit though a friend.

I think their same day service is pretty high also. I have never used it so this is just what I have heard

With PCGS you can get it graded in 4 hours at a show if youre willing to pay 200 a coin, or for 110 a coin you can get it back the next day at the show. |

Wow, I wonder how many coins they grade with the $200 premium. There must be some big-time collectors/dealers to justify that need.

Probably not a ton that way. If your rich and want it fast it doesn't matter that much but if you have a 5 or 10k+ coin it can be well worth it to get it done right away and not have it going through the mail
