That 1885 speaks to me. I don't know what it is (OK, yes, I do) but if the Peace dollars have the same strengths, I'm not sure if I care what you paid. And that's a '98-S, not a '78, right? It I'm just seeing an odd way of writing and it's a '78, I'd sure like to see detail images of that one.

Truth, but I know Ron_CA from previous postings and I know darn well he's not going to overpay. So, if he shows stuff like this on the forum, it's well-bought.

I apologize for any misinterpretation based upon familiarity.

those prices seem very reasonable. Nice coins indeed.

Thanks Guys

I wish I could have bought them for less, but $40 was the lowest he would go on the Morgans. I kind of think I paid a little too much for the 78s too.

Dave, thanks for the vote of confidence and your right, I don't post all my bad purchases

See? You're smart, too.

That 1878-S is a Short Nock, right?

I'd say the prices were pretty good. Can't get an uncirculated Morgan from my local dealer for less than $50.

Nice silver dollars. I'm a big fan of Morgan and Peace dollars, and those prices don't seem to be that high considering the conditions they're in.
