It completely depends on the coin, so I can't vote.
If it is a key date/high grade/popular coin, I always go auction because there can be a chance that it will bring more than you thought.
For common coins, buy it now works fine.

Yeah, truck parts I would stick with BIN. Most collectables that are popular and somewhat unique should go auction IMO.

Since there isn't always a large group of people looking for that specific part, for that specific year, for that specific make and model, etc. |

But, if you list something for 75 times below value it should sell. You will lose on some things, and not everything will be found, but the common items that have watchers and higher view consistently, should get bids. However, you are right, not everything would sell even at that. |

Did you ever stop and think that the watchers and high view counts could be from others wanting to sell the same item?

Yeah, I have considered it, but I have sold these items fast before, so I figure it is potential buyers.

I have to agree with it depends on the coin. If you think it may bring more an auction might be best. If you know about what a coins worth best offer may be better since it does leave the door open if you happened to overcharge a little.

I also like the counter offer on the best offer feature. I have had very few turn down a counter offer when I send one back. |

Lots of things sold for dirt cheap with a few exceptions. Once in awhile a coin would go for a few dollars above trends. I switched over to Buy It Now and have had far more success. I still offer free shipping so I'm sure that helps. I may not sell as many coins a day that way but I get a better return on every coin I do sell. I think auctions might work better for a few NCTL coins, but I have found that Buy It Now is the way to go if you are listing large quantities of coins. Just my 2 cent. |

, right now, and I saw one auction where someone tried that and 99 cents was all it sold for. 
Maybe when the market gets back up I can try this. I have always thought it would be neat to get an almost for sure sale on everything you list. Thanks for your input.
