I think if its bronze you should be OK, if its small and silver I would be worried those are faked very well. I had a chance to see a fake silver coin in person, and man without looking at known fake dies, I would have been fooled.

Suspiciously cheap is 19euro incl shipping... thank you all for your comments! I'm not so worried anymore now. When I have received it, I shall post a picture.

Most probably a fake. These people seem to be a fake outlet. New generation casts mainly, difficult to detect. Counterfeited corrosion, etc. I was another victim. They sell tons of them every week.

He's not on the Notorious Fake Seller list, which is a good sign.

Certainly that is a good thing... for them. But just have a look at what they sell every week and everyman for himself.

I have looked at them and they all appear genuine to me. If you can point out anything that is a known fake than reference it here. Seeing is believing and I haven't seen anything on their site that sends up any red flags for me.

Here are two of my (recent) purchases from the same seller. What do you think? Maximinus Follis Heraclea Iovi Wreath 3,81 g / 23 mm Boeotia Federal Coin Trident Dolphin 1,81 g / 14 mm

I don't see anything wrong with either of them other than the flans being pitted.

Since Mr Moderator is so certain I have nothing else to say... I got my cue and I exit. I feel I am not needed here. Chapeau bas!

I only asked for some proof before we accuse a seller. You could not provide any.

As Rizzo would say: 'Some people are so touchy!'
But then Sandy was a little prima donna wasn't she! 😜

Until someone provides evidence of the seller misrepresenting fake coins, or 'copies', or 'gallery coins' as 'genuine' I am happy to continue to buy from them.
I purchased another coin from them overnight.
DG. I think that you're O.K. and that you have a very nice coin at a very nice price. Indeed, I would have bought it at that price, myself, if I didn't already have one.

I bought the coin when savoca coins just had started to sell via ebay. now, 1 year later it turns out to be a trustfull seller (its an ex-employee of GN I thought) and I bought several coins of him. If there there is any prove he isn't I would like to know. As far as it seems now there is none.
