I will update with high quality images when it's in hand. Also going to post to the PCGS forums at that point as well. Given where it is shipping from, I probably won't have it until Wednesday at the earliest.

I'm cautiously optimistic based on really incomplete information but factoring in that you don't get taken to the cleaners very often. Worth the risk, given the return policy. It's worth every penny of the price if real.

I am pretty sure it's not cleaned, so not worried about that, and given buyer protection, if it was an obvious counterfeit, I could file SNAD against the seller and get my money back anyway. So I would have bought it regardless of the return privilege.

Stupid PO is KILLING me. This was supposed to arrive today along with an '80-CC GSA, instead nobody on my street got mail today. "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." Yeah, right...

Weight; 4.86 grams. Images? Poor quality cast counterfeit, imho.

If the devices and lettering are as poorly formed as your images suggest, I agree it is a counterfeit.

Hmmmm.... That doesn't look so good to me... If I were you, I would let the seller know it's coming back to him.

Unfortunately, that's one of the problems with poor pictures on an online auction. Sometimes it works out with a nice coin, but sometimes the seller is hiding things. I think we know what was going on here. Good luck with your return!

The seller doesn't really deal in coins, he said this came with a box of cards he bought, so my guess is he's being honest. He did say he has a bunch of other stuff he's going to send to me to have me look at, so we'll see if there's anything good in there, I guess...

The "CC" Mint mark is way off. Strange that the mint mark is very clear but all the details and letters around it are worn. Also, the shape of the "CC" doesn't match what it looks like on a real Twenty Cent Piece.

That poor pic sure got me thinking it could be genuine. Looks like it was a bit underweight though.
