Its about as big as your Carthage thing, isn't it? The 42mm is already going over the cost of this one, but I'm going for it anyway.

Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on those 48mm Edgar L. Owen Ptolemaic coins :) Thought about getting one of the big ones but ended up buying a mixed lot containing a 47.5mm Ptolemy.
BTW, your picture link for the 50mm Roman is broken...

I posted it in the ILBB thread, a group shot. https://goccf.com/t/156462&whichpage=4#1438937My good camera's battery charger is dead and I can't take decent pictures right now. I need to shoot individual pics of that lot. I'm treating the verdigris on a couple of them right now. I spent a goodly amount on the lot but figured the price paid was decent when compared to the price of a single 48mm Ptolemy from Edgar L. Owen. And I got a nice surprise-- the COL-NEM. I bought the lot almost blind-- the picture showed only 8 of the 12 in a pile and only mentioned the size of the largest Ptolemy. In retrospect you can see the COL-NEM peeking out from the pile but there wasn't enough of it showing for me to ID it pre-purchase.

Many hundreds. More than the cost of a 48mm Ptolemy alone, but there are 12 coins and I like them all.
