I love this type of coin! I'm wondering what you paid for it, and what is the going rate for this coin? It certain is nice in this state, without polish, why ruin such a beautiful coin?

When I read your post a string of words came out of my mouth that are totally inappropriate to repeat on this forum.
I am hoping that you are just trying to "Wind us up" with this.
Nobody could be as clueless or stupid to keep cleaning coins after the advice you have been given by many an expert numismatist on this site.
If however you ARE continuing to clean and destroy coins in this manner I strongly suggest that you give yourself up and return to the asylum that you have obviously escaped from

Awfully nice coin, love the patina. Not being a Brit I wonder how much of a big deal the actual Jubilee celebration was? They made quite a day of Elizabeth II's 60th anniversary recently, so I wonder if it was more or less than that? (Despite the absence of TV coverage ).

Best Regards,

George

Yes it does make you wonder. Maybe the BBC was around before we even got to know of them and they have some secret footage of the event.
