I'm waiting for my Toronto Maple Leafs Stanley Cup Celebratory Coin.
Of course if such an event were to occur, coins won't matter much, because he11 will have indeed frozen over.

I think, these caught an attention, cause have been sold out.
Nothing unusual about them, plain painted (i think).
Yeah, may be nice to have one of the teams, but coin and stamp set in the card...not so attractive.
And if you didn't think to buy it earlier - do not bother yourself with searching after it (I think local PO's will have them) only because it sold-out from the Mint.

2017 - Fifty Years of Maple Leaf Futility Commemorative Loonie 2018 - Twenty-Five Years of Blue Jays Futility Commemorative Loonie
If MLSE & Rogers thought they could make a buck out of it, they'd go for it.

Close. There will be tons of 2017 100th anniversary of the Leafs stuff ala Habs in 2009.
They already have a new anniversary logo and other plans in place.

Just at my local Post Office. They have Montreal, Toronto and of course Ottawa. They also have virtually all of the coins from last release as well as many of the coins issued in 2013 and 2012. There are four display cases pretty much full of stale inventory. Interesting display too.

I'm seeing many of them in CP (I'm in Montreal area), but taxes added comes to 35$. It's not selling that much more on ebay.
