It is a different and unique coin. I have heard others say they like it more than the Silver version. In hand this coins looks very nice!

Its a beautiful coin , I have 3 of them, one is getting gifted as a Christmas present this year. While it is a great looking coin I would not expect it to increase in value as it has a mintage of 15k I believe and its made out of copper 95% copper and 5% zinc , but still a very nice coin to have in a collection. plus you never really know if any one coin will decrease or increase in value at some point in the future.

I love this coin. I think it's beautiful, I think the bronze is unique. I'm not too concerned if it's worthless or not. I just love the look of the coin. Everything comes together so well on this coin that it's hard to not like how it looks. The silver version is beautiful, too, but there's something about the bronze. It's a colour rarely seen in coin collecting, and the Mint has never before made an NCLT bronze coin - they've only made bronze medallion. And it depicts a piece of history that most people don't even have any knowledge about.

So, to sum up, I love this coin!

Certainly not a waste of time. One of the few NCLT that drew my attention this year.

@wlouison, I couldn't agree more! Did you notice how all the detail actually pops out better on this version over the silver. It is a beautiful coin.

@Coinzchange Yes! The way the bronze looks when it has a frosted proof finish. It's exquisite. The Maple Leaf staff and the flying eagle are two of the things that pop out most to me. And for a coin this size, with this much detail, you can't go wrong for $35.

@waloshin This is one of my favourite 2013 coins. I hope they start to mint a few more bronze coins. One bronze coin a year would just be a special treat. It's just nice to see a different colour metal than gold or silver.

The photograph up there doesn't even do this coin justice. The mirror finish of the sky, the rolling waves of the water, the sharp, frosted mountains...
I think I'm in love! :)

@wlouison, Lol, take it easy there now!But yes, again agree wholeheartedly!

The bronze really reminded me of many years of shiny new pennies as they came out.

Maybe one of these a year will take their place.
