 Will agree here. But actually it's just a bullion. Maybe colorized version will come too?

Quote: are the gilded 25th anniversary ones reverse proof as well? No. According to the pictures, it bullion finish with frosted-gilded "25". 2014 Fractional set is Reverse Proof, or 2014 Horse Privy.

Yes...understand you, Yup7676 it nice, but artificially overpriced and more important for me - not gilded by RCM. But to have the Anniversary edition (not gilded), ordered couple of coins, that sealed by RCM. The quality is the same, but they individually sealed.

@silver-
the thing I find interesting is how some dealers offer the gilded coin by itself, others with a box and like small booklet

The ones with a sm COA are the ones done by a German company is my guess. I say this because my color wildlife series came with a case and COA. This could be a possibility. I like the ones where the leaf is gilded and the 25 is plain.

Shrug, call it what you want, PMD or post-mint alteration, or not - the Silver Maple Leaf collectors absolutely love this coin. Probably the nicest eye-appeal of all the German enhanced SML coins. I listed four of them on ebay, and it was a surprise feeding frenzy of bids ranging from $325 to $375 each, when the hammer dropped. I should have ordered more...
