Dollarman, are you feeling enraged by your displaced penny? Probably not as much as somebody might have been 2 centuries ago when a penny was worth a whole lot more, as in Beethoven's time. Rumour has it he wrote one of his more popular caprices after an episode where he lost a penny. Granted, that penny was said to be gold not copper, but the sentiment is the same.
hi Dollarman if you are referring to the 1969 clipped penny consider it yours I wouldn`t mind seeing your others if that suits I've put it away with the honey and peanut butter for safekeeping best
I can't post pics but I have a 1959 and 2 1963s. So you're saying if I want it its mine? Thankyou:-) :-D ! Is there anything you're looking for cause I wouldn't want to just take it, we can trade if you like, feel free to shoot me an email.
ok I tried for a joke and failed miserably, sorry, the quickest way to kill a joke is to try to explain it, but here goes...
Quote: IT WAS A 1949 PENNY but than I dropped it in the one place you lose your change forever......the car
So you 'thedollarman' are looking for a penny, if thedollarman was a superhero then his side-kick might be Cent Boy. and if Cent Boy had X-ray vision he could locate your missing penny.
I was not trying to be mean with it, I just thought that it was kind a funny. Sorry for the confusion I hope this clears it up and good luck with the car search.
