Those are beautiful coins! You have many reasons to be proud! It is odd that there is a spot for the 1895 though.

Great looking set Connor. All great looking coins. If you are able to afford it, I would shoot for a nice VF 1888-s, to me it seems like the price for that date has fallen sharply over the last 6 months or so. That is just my opinion.

It was kind of funny reading my original post over again. I now on two of the morgans I said I would probably never own (89cc and 93cc). It gets very addicting when you get this close.

I'm sorry I missed this topic when you posted it as I was out of town that week and off the grid. Anyways, great looking set of Morgans and congrats on scoring two biggies!

Nice set you have going there. Just keep working on it and one day you may find that you CAN get the 93-S. I did and completed the set. (no 95) I did have to trade 29 coins to be able to get the 93-S to a price I could afford. I have long ago sold most of the set and have been working on a PCGS Morgan set. Need 53 of the 117 for the set. Here is the link if you might want to take a look. Morgan dollars with Major Varieties, Circulation Strike http://www.pcgs.com/SetRegistry/all...aspx?s=88665Thanks

Nice PCGS Set RJP...I purchased a 1888s in AU58 graded by NGC a few days ago. Down to 12 now. I have a few common dates that I want to upgrade while I am saving up for the biggies that are left.

Keep going Conner, I do need the 88-S in any grade again. I have the same album and I did fill it up. one 93-S I had was AG-3 and bought at a auction many years ago. I did upgrade it to a NGC EF-40 toned coin. But I had it in the album for many years. Currently I am working on the circulated set again and filling the album up again. Along with many other coins.

Never let the grade get in you way! AS I and Most have always thought of having the nicest coins, but we just don't have the money....SOME DO but MOST don't.I really commend you in your diligence to apply both high and low spectrum and down to such few but high dollar coins, as when you go for better coins it won't be the last 20 cons that are so tuff to obtain....as it can be the last 40 like me..I dislike finding the last 40 are $300 and not in MS grades or so per coin until you get to the last major purchases There's a lesson or an old saying....If she's not pretty enough for you and you have no one...perhaps one should aim a bit lower and be happy for a change...instead of living up to some dream one thinks they have... Great set..
