I got my sets yesterday (subscription). Haven't had a chance to really look them over yet, but I like the new slip cover.

I got mine yesterday as well. and yes they are very nice coins. the pres $ are even nice even though I don't care for them I like the holder you can see the edges from the holders. very cool.
my pres $ may even be a very close PF-70 but I don't send them in so we will never know lol.,
well worth the $26.95

I'm not crazy about the presidential series, I mentioned in another thread I think they look like souvenirs. Nevertheless, I'm liking the proof sets too. I'm probably going to order a few later in the week.

Jamez, I'm agreeing with you re the '99 silver set. The only reason I can think of to support those prices is an artificial and deliberate shortage, good old fashioned market manipulation. There's probably folks sitting on tons of them and releasing the little by little.

When I'm on the mint's web site I'll look at the '07 Buffalo again. Could be an expensive click.

Another day, another mailbox devoid of coins.

Maybe tomorrow.

Just got the email that mine shipped out. Now I'm kind of wondering why I purchased the proof set of Pres. separately.... For some reason I thought they wouldn't be included in the set since they were offered up as a separate item. Oh well.

The proof sets were in the mail Thursday.

I am very pleased with them. Very attractive, and I actually feel I got my money's worth!

I got mine today.I ordered two set for my self and 2 for others. I think the President Dollar in proof look very nice. I like the way they look in proof far more then the Cirulated onesight acually but a few set of just the Proof Pres Sets.

I'm still waiting on my order. Website says shipped 8/2 but it is the 12th now! Tracking info just says no info available. Am I just being paranoid?

If you call the mint, they might have additional information you won't find on their website.

My 2007 proof set arrived last week. It is the first time I ever purchased proof coins.

So here's the noobish question. What to do with them? Keep them in the plastic cases they arrived in? Move them to a different holder? Send them somewhere to be slabbed?

I just got my proof set. I was happy with the coins except for the Proof Madison - the reverse had what looked like crud all over it. I may get another set - one to keep in the packaging and one to break out and add to some albums.
