Steve Contursi is one of the top high end dealers in the US, he mainly uses ebay for windowshopping and advertising. He should probably also get into the keyboard selling business because I can imagine quite a few have been ruined from excessive drool while looking at his inventory

Thanks Bobby for posting the link. There are a couple of coins I would buy in the $20,000.00 range. That is after me and my wife sell the house and move into a tent. Wait, we could sell and get a $200,000.00 coin. That is a big, " If I'm still living after the sale." LOL

I would have to save my coin budget for about a year to afford his least expensive offering.

I've seen them before, I was looking for a 1862 3 Cent silver and I found their website, turns out it was the cheapest thing there and even then it was $2500+ They have some really nice stuff, including absolute rarities at very good prices.... if you can afford them without having to sell your house...

Just for fun let's say $$$ is no obstacle. Which coin would you buy from that list?

Just for fun...I am missing a Bust Dollar from my PCGS registry collection. The 1799 draped bust in PCGS MS64 for just $141,750. I will have to see how well my greatcollections auction goes.

Very good idea Cheree... I would choose the 16-D merc in MS-66 FB. Such a legendary coin at such a high grade! Or maybe the Pr-65CAM Stella...

I know this is low end compared to others on that site, but I just really love the Barber halves and he has a couple MS67s

Nope. RARCOA (Rare Coin Company of America) is a Chicago-based contemporary of Contursi's firm (Rare Coin Wholesalers).

Note they only infrequently sell a coin on ebay. Perhaps 2 a month. The 16-D Merc is crazy nice.

Ok, I figure instead of starting a new thread, I'll post this here. I think I'm going to post all the coins I find particularly eye appealing that have a certain "WOW" factor about them that I think we all might enjoy looking at. Here's a beautiful 1878 Morgan. Wow. http://www.davidlawrence.com/invent...lver-Dollars
