To me the glare kinda adds to the token. Looks like the angel is coming out of heaven itself. Its a cool token though.

WOW! Thank you valutarick. Then I guess a tourist visiting NYC must have dropped it without realizing it. I love it ! However, I can't get a hold of it yet. I told hubby to keep it in his pocket for the time being as a Good Luck token. I even went further and placed it in a safety flip. I don't know about grading but it looks uncirculated, nice and shiney!

I found one a couple of years ago, while metal detecting. Perhaps they are meant to be lost? (Just kidding).

! ! !UPDATE! ! !
Since, finding the angel token and warning hubby he better not leave the house without it in his pocket. He is now employment ! Oh, what a relief !
I just had a feeling that this was a good sign when he first came home with it.

I've found one of the same tokens, while opening a roll of quarters that I just got from the bank and there it was in the roll, I asked all of my employees if they had ever seen one like this, everyone said they haven't I've searched the Internet and haven't found anything on it, till I found this site. it's kinda weird that you said it brought go luck to your husband and finding a job, because I am about to put my business on the market for sale maybe its a good sign, just wondering if anyone knows where the piece came from.

What a cool ending! Congrats to the hubby! I wouldn't doubt that the token is from Hungary. Angels are depicted on their coat of arms as seen in these two coins. Image Insert:

Mila, I'm not sure if you are still interested but I discovered some new info on your token. I was helping out with a local charity delivering some food & toys. The director gave me a couple of tokens and said to hand them out to each family with each delivery. When I looked at the tokens I recognized them as being the same one you had. I asked the director what they were and he informed me that they were "Angel In Your Pocket" tokens that many charities in the U.S. hand out. Kind of like a guardian angel :) So I guess in your guess it worked

WOW Ken That is so cool. Everyday before going out job searching I would ask him "Do you have the 'Angel in you Pocket'?" Well fitting description. And still to this day, carries it in his pocket.
Now if only I could find one for myself.
Thanks for sharing mila_
