1804 Dollar for the design

@ASEnut which Barber coin? Charles Barber designed both the 1894-S dime and the 1913 Liberty nickel

While the nickel is probably the rarest/nost valuable and the barber is great as well I've got to stick to the classics here and go with the 1804 $1.

1804 dollar cause they are even bigger than Ikes, and a coin should be able to be felt in your hand, not trickle through your fingers without even knowing it was there like a dime.

I like big coins and I cannot lie
You other CRHers can't deny
That when a 40mm gets put in you hand
You just trip, and wanna pull out a flip
I don't want none unless its a Draped Bust hun!

In order of preference, and my short (somewhat arbitrary) reason why:
1.) 1804 dollar: Big, silver, lots of history
2.) 1894-S Barber dime: I've really been into dimes lately.
3.) 1913 Liberty nickel: I'm not a big fan of nickels. Of course, if someone gave me one, I wouldn't complain!t

It depends. If the 1804 is one of the Class I originals I'd take it. If it is a previously unknown (and genuine) Class II I'd definitely take it. If it is a Class III restrike I'd take the 94 S dime because he 94 S dime is the lowest mintage regular issue US coin.

The 1913 V nickel is just a made up fantasy piece with no legal authorization.

Basically what Conder101 said: if the dollar is one of these Class III restrikes I'll take the dime, otherwise I'll take the dollar.
I think I'll add one other qualification: if the dime is G-4 or lower, I'll take the dollar either way.

I'd take the Barber. It's known that the 04 dollars were actually made many years later as gifts for dignitaries. The 1913 nickel's pedigree is so shady it's off-putting.

The story of the 94-S dime is much nicer: the mint superintendent made them and gave one to his daughter to spend on ice cream. I'll take one, please... two for a waffle cone.

I choose the 1804 dollar as I love the draped bust design and the issue is much more historically significant than the other two issues.

1804 dollar for me. I love the design and I really like big silver coins. As far as American coinage goes, this is about as big as it gets!
