Appears to be at least high AU perhaps low MS. Hate to be the forum's Debbie Downer; However you have to ask yourself why a coin of this quality -- with nice toning -- hasn't been slabbed?

It was slabbed, by ANACS in an Older Holder, before it was cracked out. I have the slab insert Anyway, thanks for all the opinions. I only wish this coin was MS though, there is slight wear under the wing and a bit on the cap as well. But I think AU-55 or AU-58 (If I'm lucky) isn't unreasonable. More posts to come when my 3 other CBH's get here next week.

AU-55 or 58 sounds about right.

AU-58 with a shot at an MS grade. A beauty!

ANACS gave the coin AU-50, which is undergraded IMO. The toning is a bit uneven though, there's a small stain in front of the mouth. I'm hoping the coin will tone over evenly soon. Appreciate all the opinions.

Seems to be under graded at AU-50.

Ugh? So NGC ended up body bagging that coin? I don't see what the problem is with it, it was cracked out from a problem-free old generation ANACS holder (Cert# 891275) and it's honestly better than the AU-50 they gave it. Indeed the obverse does have some hairlines around the bust, but I don't think they should've been so harsh. What did the other two grade like?
