Today start the last few days of the month and there are only few denominations starting with U,V,W,X,Y or Z. Since there is only one definite denomination (I know and have) starting with 'U', I'll give someone else the chance to post one of those. Here a coin which can 'cheat' it's way into this topic: "Unit" (c.AD300) Mitra Kings of Kosala 'Unit' is the term used to describe coins when the original denomination term is unknown, often qualified as Silver Unit, Half Unit or similar.

Okay, since no-one posted one yet and the day is slowly drawing to an end, here my proper 'U' coin: Uncia (~215 BC - 211 BC) Roman Republic

'V'-day is a little easier than 'U', but since there are not many denominations for 'V' either I restrict myself to one from the neighbourhood: Vatu 1983 Vanuatu

Was really hoping to see some other 'V' denominations, eg a Vietnamese Van. But let's go on to 'W': Won 1983 (South) Korea

Nice ones, now for a difficult day: 50 Xu 1963 Vietnam Unfortunately this is the only non-gold denomination I know which starts with an 'X'. Anyone has one of those gold coins?

Welcome back, hope you had a good holiday. Since there was no interest in latest idea for an alphabetic series, I'll leave it up to you to start something new. And good you posted a Yuan, was hoping someone would so I didn't scan one. Here my other selection for 'Y': 1/4 Yang 'Gwang Mu' Year 2 (1898) Empire of Korea
