The original coin would have most probably been from Sardes due to a recut die which hasn't been recorded otherwise it is a nice coin.

Just looked odd from the photo. I have Price but didn't find a match. Have you checked Whirlwinds? Nice looking coin just the same.

Regarding Whirlwinds. I found similar coin:
Link removed. Hot linking to Whirlwinds does not work The coin is from Sardes but its without "F" sign. That's maybe recut die was used because they altered it to add "F" but why?

There is none. I always search auctions to see if there are similar coins and after that I go page by page in Price book.

I have found a list of the ten most prolific mints that issued Alexandrian tetradrachms, but alas, there was no list of mint marks ascribed to these mints:
Amphipolis
Babylon
Pella
Aradus
Mesembria
Tarsus
Miletus
Ake
Chios
Aspendos.

You can find mint marks for these mints in Price - "The coinage in the name of Alexander the Great and Philip Arrhidaeus. I found it somewhere on the internet.

Mint marks aren't a solid indication of being minted at one mint take the thunderbolt mintmark it appears on issues from Pella, Amphipols, Babylon and Memphis silvers and if you want to open it up to gold then you can add Aegae to that list too.
In terms of a date for this coin it would have been 325-320bc like the original die.

325-320bc? Are you sure? Zeus has crossed legs so I thought it is posthumous tetradrachm and why do you think it was recut?

Oh I have just read about recutting coins in one book. Hmm , thats very interesting. The problem is that the first coin has "F" monogram and it has to be something connected to leader. I searched and Sardes was part of ancient province of Lydia and I searched for leaders and nobody has F as the first letter ...

The letter F doesn't have to have any significance to be used. Some mint marks had significance however others didn't. Mint marks were used in combinations primarily to tell which mint had issued it. The Macedonian Empire was so large and with coins minted at many locations throughout it resulted in a large amount of mint marks being used with some overlap.
On the crossed legs it is generally a good indicator for the majority of the series however this type is one of the exceptions.
When I say a recut die I meant cutting a new die in the fashion of the old die not re carving the old die. Sorry for the ambiguity there.

Ok thanks and what are signs that this coin is lifetime? What are exceptions of coins that have crossed legs? I have only heard about Alexandria and Sidon mints ...
