These coupons like kind of fiction....why someone will give us a discount coupon, if anyway we ready to buy it?
For example, does someone know, how to get 3% discount from The Coin Shoppe? There written, that need to "like" on the Facebook.... I even created account for it and did a "like". As I thought - nothing happened, I didn't get any coupon. Removed the item from the 'cart'.

Silveroid I had the same issue a while back. I let the owner jack know, and he added it by hand and I got the discount. They are wonderful to work with. Customer service is top priority!

Quote: No coupon this year then? Too early, last year it started on Black Friday, which is tomorrow.

I have no doubt in The Coin Shoppe's ability to fix every issue with the order. Dealt with them not once. Just saying about "electronic way to give the discount"

I just got an email from premier coin and currency, they're having a 40% off sale. I didn't look at the link yet. I thought I'd let people know. Sorry I don't know how to add links. I will have to get my son to teach me one day. It's one benefit of having kids, they can teach you the current technology.

Coin and Stamp Supplies has a 20 percent black Friday sale. I think they are new, I have never bought from them before. Looks like they have a few interesting items. http://coinstampsupplies.com/

Sorry I don't know how to add links. You have just to copy and paste the link (url) here, nothing special to do. Right click - copy and right click-paste here.

Thanks guys, I came kicking and screaming into the computer age. I had to take a computer programming course to earn my college degree. I absolutely hated that course in 1988, I just barely passed it. I was lucky when I went through university I could still hand in typewritten or handwritten papers. It wasn't til my kid was five I got my second computer and actually started to use it for the Internet. It really did take awhile to learn how to format on a comuputer verses a typewriter. I was the same when switching from my 40 lb manual typewriter to the electric version. Wow this takes me back technology wise! Hey my son just yesterday thought me what a URL was! Sometimes I long for when times were simpler. Especially when the Internet goes down.
Shaws been planning and trying to upgrade my neighbourhood for two yrs. There's too many people on something called a node in my area. The overload slows the Internet to a crawl. We're getting a quarter of the speed we pay for. Doesn't bother me, but my gamer son - it drives crazy. Last weeks call to shaw reveals the situation is so bad, they've got a red alert at the call centre. My son then told the guy, he wanted a discount if we couldn't get the promised speed. Now we are getting a $7 discount for the next 6 months. However, they don't know when the upgrade will be completed. They started work in August in the area, and we are just under 10,000. So there's my computer journey.

I find it very interesting the members in the Canadian forum and RDF have become very astute bargain hunters!! I can't see how the worlds mints can continue pricing the way they are, when we've smartened up. My only explanation is it's the causal buyer that keeps sales going. Like the new edition circulation coin set, having $4 worth of coins, that we bought at face the mint is charging $25. The set contains the heart of arctic quarters/ 2014 lucky loonie/ daddy Toonie Life in the north quarters. Now a good price could be around $10-$15 point. It's great they made a package for those that missed out on the FV opportunity. I think one of the perks of being a forum member are not missing out on coins you want. There's so many eyes watching, very little gets missed.
@ yup your messages are turned off. I tried to send you a pm last week. It's best to turn it on, if you'd like to be notified of bargain. Someone posts via forum you could lose out, with other readers snagging it first. I will keep an open, now are you talking 40-50% off in CAD or USD, there's a big difference. You will end up getting close to another 10% off when you buy a coin priced CAD. It was nice when our currencies were at par. However, again our dollar is sliding.
