First off.... Second, a close-up photo of both sides would make it much easier to assess a grade. However, judging from what I can see, the grade of VF on the 2x2 seems about right. So to sum it all up, I would say it was a good purchase.

At $24 I would say it was a good buy.

Like others, I'd like to see head on, out of the holder pics. If Not out of the holder at least take them close up head on exact both the obverse and reverse. I would like to judge the difference between VF 20 and the VF 35 on this one for my own edification. It looks like a steal at the price for a raw coin. It could be worth sending for a righteous VF30 slab hopeful and you've got a $125 coin certified and ready for eventual resale should the funds ever be required.
Excellent quarter, congrats

Anybody else possibly see scratches on the reverse or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
I think we are going to need bigger/better pictures to made a good attempt at grading. Looks like VF is certainly attainable if there isn't any problems.

Looking forward to in-hand photographs from the OP ... appears by sellers photos to perhaps be a nice coin.

It's a well-loved issue, one of those ones I harp about "liquidity" with. Any $24 thrown at something like this is a good toss.

I do see what you mean. After some very optimistic investigation, I concluded that it was a hair on the plastic. If you look closely you can see two circular lines, one being the hair and the other a shadow, at least I hope so.

Judging by your pics I'd say you picked up a nice example in very collectible condition - congrats!
