AU-58. To many chunks & dinks for MS designation. There's a pretty nasty impact on the field below the "L" in Liberty & the tiara has been struck by something vertically across the top. No way those are bag marks, unless they dropped the bag & ran over it.

Has to be circulated, so I say AU55.

My first impression was AU-55.

I'm seeing a terrific strike with a little wear, as opposed to a weaker Uncirculated strike. Note the big spike from the eagle's shoulder, a clash from the back of Liberty's neck.

Cant see it higher than AU55 and the surface hits will affect value

Thanks for the replies!
I gave it maybe AU-53 for the obverse and AU-58 for the reverse, so AU-55 sounds like a nice compromise. Unfortunately the dings look worse in hand.
