How about 1795 Dollars - Flowing Hair & Draped Bust? I can't play much but I can fill that slot.

Jeffrose and ExoGuy in my opinion the 1795 Dollars and the 1796 large cents do warrant this set. Here is why, I do not see the later design as a radical enough departure from the previous design. I hope that doesn't offend collectors of those coins. But ExoGuy, the nickel and the Half Dime is a good call. I think that is worthy of inclusion...and I'll go a step further as this may apply to the 3 cent pieces too. This set is to hallmark same denominations with different designs that ran concurrently. Say that fast 3 times. Thus the Half Dime 1866 - 1873 and the nickel 1866 - 1873 should be included. And the 3 cent pieces too. 1865 - 1873 Silver and Nickel 3 cent pieces. Did I open a can of worms? What say ye?

Yep ... worms! How about the 1864 CN and bronze Indians? Is a change in metallic content not sufficiently radical? Re the 1796 cents ... The loss of Liberty's cap is not radical? IMHO, this is a far more radical departure than the 1839 pick!

Maybe we need to change the title to "Days of the Transition Coin Type Set" to get his attention.

Man I love forums(insert sarcasm). Being the newer guy in town, I can't say no to your request to add all these "hardly transitional" pieces to this virtual set It's a rule on the internet you know, if you deny someone something; the twitter-verse will go crazy and you'll be shamed into making a public apology. So I can't deny your request, but I will make you work for it. Starting with March 10th, add what you want to the calendar and post that calendar once you come up with it. If it's not posted in a nice clean format like Gyrene7483 supplied us (see first post) your request will be(insert voice of God) DENIED.

We are a few days behind schedule. Feel free to post pics of what you have to make this set a reality. Schedule and coins are on the first post above.
