When you shut down and come back do you have to log in again or no?

I don't think it's anything you did, Bobby. If it was, it would be happening to everyone else.
That said, it happens to me, from time to time. It's like a new visit marks the topics read. I think this is browser related, tbh.

Which browser is involved, here? Have other browsers been tried? For this to work, the alternative browser must be the one tried on the first visit to CC, or else the last visit date will be affected by the regular browser visit.

It's been doing it to me in FF and Chrome (different logons) and it never has before. You have to be gone at least an hour and come back, if you visit any other page then go back to active.asp it starts you over. It's never started over for me unless I actually hit the All Read button, at least that I've noticed.

Unfortunately, not many people use active.asp so I'm not surprised no one else is reporting this.

That being said, I think I may have found the problem, timing would be right on the money. I just need to wait about an hour to test it.

I just came across this topic.

I am using FFox latest version. I just logged in and clicked the "active topics" and it shows all of them "read" and shows last visit 0 minutes ago. I last was on about 12 hours prior to this log on.

been happening for a couple days now. I thought it was just me.

Edit:

I should also add, it happens at home with Ffox and IE with windows 7. I never tried chrome

Mike, until I sort this out, bookmark the active topics page and visit that page first. Seems to work fine if you do that.

Mike, all I have bookmarked is the active topics page. It's where I go first every single time I visit. That's why I never noticed the issue.
