I would do the same. You paid face, so anything over that you're coming out ahead.

Sure is! That is my 1923 $5 'Porthole' Silver Certificate. You can check out the rest here as well as other CCF member's collections here: https://goccf.com/t/216568

would you take the 2.50 if your LCS is right next to you? Btw I coin roll hunt and thats how I get these occasionally! Definitely cant have too much money tied up in these. SO keep the 1928, star notes, and the best of each series? I'm still really new to paper currency and like to make sure I keep the right ones hahah

Post the pics of the 1928's -- there are some key notes in the 1928 series.

The four zeros does have a premium as well as the star notes. Put the crisp ones in holders. Sell any with any kind of damage to your LCS. http://www.uscurrencyauctions.com/$2notes.htm

By damage do you mean rips? Or folds as well?

$2.50 each? To that I say "Ha!"
Walk away. $4 a pop all day long. If you don't wanna do any leg-work I (personally) wouldn't accept less than $3 for the bottom barrel examples. Just me.

Actually just sold 77 average condition ones for $4.50 at my LCS!! Made $200 but he offered me only 2.25 for the ripped ones should I take that? Btw I pulled all the perfect uncirculated ones, I found 3 sequential uncirculated 1963s worth any premium?
