The Marquis de LaFayette was one of many non-US military men who joined the ranks against the British during the American Revolution. He quickly became a favorite of Gen George Washington and became a Major General. He also played a role in securing French assistance. There's a lot of towns, cities, colleges, parks, and even a dollar named after LaFayette. Details at http://www.marquisdelafayette.net/

Well it's up to €170+ now which is good to say it has a "nominalwert" of only €10.
How much was the wine?

A decent bordeaux starts from 3.5 to 5 euro and if you can let it luy for another year or two it will be good to very good
But then again I live only 50 minutes drive from the french border so my favourite suppermarket has about 200 wines and 10 euro would probably be sold too young and would have to ripen for two to three years
I like Montagne st Emillion

PS 10 euro on a monnaie de paris gold coin only means it its a quarter ounce these days

Another high feedback fraudster
Says selling the bridge coin without box and without certificate but posting a pic with both
This should be forbidden cause she sells to all of europe and most french will not understand a word of what she is saying
Also 20 euro postage is pushing it
My guess is that this coin will not sell

This looks like a lost oportunity for money de paris
Seems like a private firm made gold money
All in all 7 grams of gold
If it were legal tender the price would be a steal

I never saw this half ounce 1994 the oath of Koufra before

fingergrease on it
a pitty
