The pictures aren't the greatest so I understand if you can't see the doubling or markers. Thank you for looking. Once I turned off the pop up blocker I was able to upload. Thanks all. :)

Hey canova-can you get any close ups of some of the doubling? Also, you weighed this and it is copper?

Hi, yes it is copper. The coin is at the coin dealers. The owner is sending it in in to NGC

There are 7 varieties of the 1982 penny. One of them Is copper over zinc. There are large dates.
It's difficult to produce a scan that shows all the doubling. In hand it shows doubling in E Pluribus Unum, the memorial pillars, die scratches around Lincoln, die chip on the letter T in Liberty....... I was very careful before sending it in and verified it with 3 coin dealers.
I am not an idiot or novice and won't come back to this website.
Thank you.

1. 2. All the best with your DDR. * No member on this site called you an idiot or novice nor made any reference of same. They stated their opinion of your coin as best they could from the pictures posted.*

canova61 to CCF I don't think anyone is calling you a novice or idiot, it is just hard to tell anything from the small photos. just like any forum opinions, comments, theories, feedback is given. I can't tell either way but would be interested in seeing your results. I am assuming it looks like this in hand which when reduced I tried to compare to a known example reduce to same size as your coin image right is your coin

There are no known 1982 copper DDRs and only one zinc DDR is known(it was discovered on this forum). The chances of you having a previously unknown DDR are slim and a TPG will not attribute an unverified variety. Quote: I am not an idiot or novice and won't come back to this website.

There is an1982 copper over zinc (verified). There were two, not one verified. My bubble has nothing to do with it. Read up on it. :)
