I just got my loonies this morning. The packaging is great. I really like what they did with the packaging. It is the best circulation lucky loonie I have seen. I like both the finish and the design. These are keepers! I do need to use a loupe to go over them. What is the quality like? What do collectors think of the quality of these loons?

re quality this weirdness was in my set: looks like a nasty bag mark to the eye, but at high magnification it looks to my untrained eye as if it's a scrap metal shaving that got laminated onto the coin when it was minted.... but then, I've never spent a lot of time looking at high res bag marks so maybe that's all it is after-all... :)

I like the packaging as well and purchased the silver version to go along with the circulation coin for comparison.
Silly question in regards to similar items the Mint is aggressively pushing into prospective buyer's shopping carts.
There are 171 reviews on the Loon that cannot be accessed as a result. Anyone know how to get around that?
I noticed this at other times but wasn't sure where to post the question, however since it's related I thought this would be a good place as any.

It seems the layout of the page has been changed and you're right, I can't find a link to either leave a review or read others either. No rationalizing RCMs actions a lot of times...

Just noticed today that they increased the limit from 1 to 10 for these packs, so anyone looking to get more should be able to do so now.

Trying to get my coin collection up to date. Can't seem to find any of the 2016 Olympic toonies in circulation. Has anyone seen any lately.

Quote: 2016 Olympic toonies I'll assume you mean loonies, and no, have not seen them in the wild for a while. Good luck.

Just received one more 2016 Lucky Loonie after searching four more rolls of coins. Need a few more for the grandkids. Hopefully I will be able to find them.
