Quote: Not even the fact that there is no denomination on it? Did you miss in the listing that he said it was a silver round and NOT currency? Quote: Also a Chinese 1oz. SILVER Round dated 2010 [this is not currency] with proof like finish He also calls it a silver round in the title.

And that is why it is best to see a coin in hand before making a determination. Which is why we have nothing to do with reporting fakes on ebay UNLESS they are in counterfeit NGC holders with clear pictures that show that is the case. -Paul

The seller didn't mis-represent the item at all, unless the Panda happens to be silver plated, which is not something that would be apparent in a photo.

Quote: Did you miss in the listing that he said it was a silver round and NOT currency? He can call it a refrigerator if he wants, it's still a counterfeit. Also, I'd bet my house it's not silver. We've seen these here plenty of times.

Looks like an (You're right, but we don't broadcast it here - Bobby) They are a very big problem in the coin industry as they don't seem to care if people sell fakes on their site.

that is not to say a bad seller cannot use the same pictures though, or even send you a dozen of fake coins/slabs patterned off of the "real" one. in other words, if you see the same pictures/slab serial number on another seller's listing, well, that is bad...

I take back my last sentence. Sometimes one simply cannot get as good of a picture on their own, so I have no problem with using pictures that was on a previous listing for one particular coin, as long as the seller explains that, especially if using a "stock" picture... my pictures generally suck so I sometimes use pictures from a previous listing for the particular coin. wanted to clear that up... mike
