Got your response, thanks! The tripled mint mark is pretty sweet. What scope set up are you using?

I am using a standard old AmScope stereoscope. Works pretty well. 1951 Spike Head SKH-1C-1951-01

Nice finds tropicalbats. Are you using a camera that came with the AmScope and if so, what model scope. If not, what kind of set up are you using? Thanks.

I must correct myself. I actually looked at the thing and it is an Accu-scope not an AmScope. It is an older model similar to the 3050 that they still make. I need the small size so I can travel with it for IDing small insects and whatnot for my work. But I actually use if far more often here looking at coins, so a nice double-use item. I don't use a special camera for it, although I am thinking of getting one to save a step. I have a spare iPhone plugged into my computer and shoot the photos through the microscope with that. But I still have to move the photos off the phone to the computer hard drive. Looks like I have a few more minutes before it's lights out here. I will try and find one more coin of interest before I call it a day and put this topic to rest.

Final post of coins for this topic. I said one more coin but two more showed up quickly so it is a double finish. First is a 1934 DDR (as noted I don't usually look these up) And finally, another new Cud, and a cool one at that. I have sent it along to JC just before posting here. Good night and I hope you enjoyed having a look at what I could pull out of a bag of coins today. Final total is iffy, but I think I went through about 500 coins total. 1956 reverse Cud (unlisted)

Fantastic thanks for sharing. Question on this last one. Wouldn't the 1956 be an RIDB?

As for the last one, I will wait for JC to make his determination, but for now I am calling it a Cud. It has two points of rim contact and both horizontal and vertical movement so I am expecting a determination of Cud. I will eventually post a follow-up to the two coins I submitted to him today, so there will be an answer. We just need to give it a bit of time.

You are most likely correct, I am not that familiar with Cuds but I am used to seeing a big blob so to say relating to it.
