tyjulie--that's a nice offer, thanks! I'll first locate that RedBook and get back to you.

Update: still waiting here for "sea mail" to arrive.

If it doesn't turn up Kurt, I will send you one. I have just had my first experience of items going missing in the mail, and it doesn't feel good.

Sean, thanks for the offer!
I'm sure it will wash ashore eventually.
Thanks again to Ty for sending the book!

I'm still hoping this book wasn't lost in the mail--with any luck, it's just a "slow boat" to California.

Ty,
I don't doubt you shipped it. I so want to use it soon...
That ship must be stopping at every port between Sydney and San Francisco.

Kurt, why do you want one? A Maccas is useless for you because you always seem to buy at about 10% or less of the listed values anyway. I wish I had the sort of luck you do.

Sean I do look for the deals.

I know my Krause catalogue is inaccurate, but seldom by how much.
For example, if I spot a 1925 1d in gF offered for $75 (full Krause price), I might be better motivated to buy if I knew Maccas lists that at AUD$ 225 for a similar grade.
