Quote: Your lucky. Most pawn shops are on the rather expensive side. You did great. I was fortunate to have found 2 local pawn shops out here that are more interested in moving product quickly rather than sitting on coins for months. They call me when they get stuff in. I provide a quick and instant liquidity solution.

Total ASW 8.47 ounces, = $6.97 per ounce, take refining costs from that, unless you wish to keep.
$12 .75 face value, but for converted for all 90%, calculates at $6.27 X face for 90% weighted average, = good buying.
If you keep, you are a scrap silver coin accumulator. That is what I do. For my accumulation, I have to buy at considerably below pure silver price. THAT is why my accumulation is growing so slowly.

I hardly ever find silver for under 12x face. I found some mercs for 11x face once, but there weren't many to buy.

Even better than my LCS set up! Very nice pickup! Those coins don't appear to be junk either so even better!

I feel fairly confident in saying that it would be next to impossible to find better prices than what you paid. I mean, Franklin and WL halves for $5? A well deserved congratulations.

Actually I just realized he undercharged me. There's 8 liberty's and 24 franklins. 32 X 5 is $160. where did he come up with $120. He must be using the new math.

Quote: New pawn shop additions. A nearly completed Whitman album of Franklin halves and a liberty half Whitman album not even close to completion. Both for $120. Very nice!
